PREFACE
This book is designed as an “easy read” and was primarily written for alcoholics and drug addicts. Secondly, it is written for the families, relatives and friends of alcoholics and drug addicts. It is a view of religion but it also has political ideas designed to get everyone thinking and working together in order to find solutions to the problems that face all of us.
Unlike a good meal, a good book will still be there when you are finished with it. For that reason, and since this book was written for several different types of people, I would like for you to keep a list (while you are reading) of anyone that you could loan your copy to when you are finished.
I recommend that you read one church/chapter each morning so you’ll have time to completely process what I’ve said. Somewhere in the book there may be parts that you don’t agree with, and I will gladly accept your input. But as you continue reading, please remember the main goal of this book and the process that I have listed above. It might also be helpful for all of us to read this book several times. I hope you, your family, and your friends continue to enjoy the investment you made in this book.
